Feather came to me at a sad time in my life. I had just lost my beloved Sable when I came across the ad in the Sighthound Review for Ariel's litter.  Ariel was always one of my favorite bitches and I must thank Dianne Reimer and Marta Gropper for allowing her beautiful daughter to become a part of my life. Feather definitely gave me reason to look to the future when I felt that all was lost. She has been a joy as well as a challenge. Feather has wonderful Whippet type thanks to her lovely pedigree but she was probably always the smallest bitch in her class here in California. This did not prevent her from achieving some enormous wins! Her majors both came at large Specialties...the first was 5 points under Lou Guerrero at the Northern California Whippet Fanciers Association Specialty and the second was one
bitch short of a 5 point major at the Greater San Diego Whippet Assn. Specialty under breeder judge Kathy Davenport (Kamada).  Feather's children from two litters will be seen in the future on this site as they work toward their own titles.
